Does Jesus know you?

You claim to know Jesus.
But does Jesus know you?

You call Him, the way. But do you follow Him?
You call Him, the light. But do you see Him?
You call Him, Lord. But do you serve Him?
You call Him, the teacher. But do you listen to Him?
You call Him, the truth. But do you believe in Him?

If you lack in any of these things, don’t be surprised if He doesn’t know you.
Matthew 7:21-23 gives a stern reminder:
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Do not walk blindly. Let your prayers, supplication and worship not be in vain. Judge yourself and examine if you are in what God approves.

Philippians 2:12 states:
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

  1. We need to reevaluate ourselves and ask ourselves if we have Jesus in our hearts. We are called to love one another and have compassion for the least of them, then we can have the eternal hope
