Let the weak say, I am strong
We walk by God’s permission.
We talk by God’s permission.
We eat by God’s permission.
Even on the wheelchair, I roll by God’s permission.
Everything we do, it’s by God’s permission.
Isaiah 45:5-7
5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Every ailment, every trial , every experience you are now having and will have God had already seen it.
I ask myself, why wasn’t I destroyed or killed in my accident? Why didn’t that sickness kill you?
It’s Because God has protected you ever since and your time is not yet. Even when I was ignorant He still had mercy upon me.
Jeremiah 1:5
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
There must be an appreciation for Gods mercy. If I can understand His mercy, then I can appreciate His mercy.
The belief in the presence and power of God is foundational to many religious faiths, particularly within Christians, and there are several reasons why we are encouraged not to doubt:
1. **Faith as a Core Principle**: Faith is central to the relationship with God. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as "confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Doubting undermines this foundational aspect of trust and belief in God's nature.
2. **Biblical Promises**: The Bible is replete with promises of God's presence and power. For instance, Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." We are encouraged to hold on to these promises as assurances of God's unchanging nature.
3. **Personal Testimonies**: Many believers have personal experiences and testimonies of how they have seen God's power at work in their lives, whether through answered prayers, miraculous events, or a sense of peace and guidance in difficult times.
4. **Encouragement to Persevere**: In moments of doubt or difficulty, we are encouraged to persevere and trust in God's timing and wisdom. James 1:6 advises, "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind."
Do not doubt the presence and power of God.
The phrase "Let the weak say, I am strong" is derived from the Bible, specifically from Joel 3:10: "Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’"
This verse emphasizes the idea of inner strength and resilience. It suggests that even those who feel weak or vulnerable can find strength through faith, determination, and a positive declaration of their capabilities. It encourages us to adopt a mindset of strength and confidence, trusting that we can overcome challenges with God's help.
Philippians 4:13
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
… hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and obey His commandments. 🙏🏽
