Time, Work On It.
Someone once said, “All relationships have one law. Never make the one you love feel alone, especially when you are there.”
If he or she can’t create time for you, then the relationship isn’t working. People make time for the people they truly care for.
Where did you find time to go for dates before you got married? Nowadays you have excuses of work overload and that the boss is always up your neck. Something always comes up.
Where did you last find the time to look your partner in the eyes, smile, reminding each other how beautiful and handsome they are? These days you can’t even tell when your partner has a new hair style or has put on a new dress.
When did you last have sleepless nights thinking about your partner just because you felt you were in love? These days your career and other things/people are the ones that give you sleepless nights.
Where did you find the time to text and make unending calls? These days your phones at times are out of service and phone calls last only seconds.
Where did you find time for meaningless conversations that had no ends? These days you talk more to the boys or the girls than share with each other.
Where did you find time to write your sweet letters, plan birthday surprises, be goofy and look good? These days a plain card with scribbled googled words suffice. Everything is just ordinary.
As we grow into our relationships, things change, we get busier and also fond of each other. Children may come, work or even social obligations may have a toll on our relationships. But despite these things, we should never forget to create time for ourselves; quality time.
Quality time will bring you closer by encouraging open communication, it will rekindle good memories, build intimacy, help learn and understand each other.
Children, careers and other activities come second in the relationship.
Engage in an activity that you both like and simply enjoy the moment/s.
Dear husband, spend some quality time with your wife.
Dear wife, spend some quality time with husband.
Dear Husband and Wife, spend some quality time with God.
Relationships need time.
Relationships need care.
Relationships need understanding.
Relationships need communication.
START WORKING ON THEM!!
