The Amour of God
I'm beginning to beginning to understand...
Deuteronomy 3:24 says...
Lord GOD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to your works, and according to your might?
God gives the greatest and biggest challenges to His greatest warriors.
In my mind I'm trying to imagine where i am in this battlefield . Am i in the front line or just somewhere in the middle scared and waiting for the war to end? Does it really matter? But I'm encouraged when I remember that The Bible says: "Don't let your heart be troubled..." For God is working for me and not against me. And if I'm for the Lord then why should I worry or be scared??? Nobody and nothing can be against me.
Friends, The front line is my place in this battle.
Ephesians 6: 10-18 says...
10Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13Why take to you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
Let this be an encouragement to someone.
