Obedience

I pray that we all get to know God and live for God. Unfortunately,  most of us if not all, are lost in one way or the other. 

Let's call a spade a spade. 

Lots of prayer do not move God. 

Lots of praise does not move God.

Giving tithe does not move God.

Serving in church does not move God.

Tears do not move God.

God sees beyond our actions. 

How do you expect God to do anything for you when you believe in Him sometimes?

We have the same prayer requests year in, year out. Begging, pleading, fasting, crying... Ever asked yourself why?

John 15:6-7 KJV‬

[6] If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 

[7] If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 

We always want the windows of heaven to open for us but what about the things we ought to do?

Why should God bless us and yet we don't give Him service?

‭John 14:23-24KJV‬

[23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 

[24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

We look at how God has forsaken us but we never look at our obedience to Him. 

We look at our unanswered prayer requests but forget our duty to Him.

[3] Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 

Do you mean business with God and ready for change or are you lukewarm? A Christian a minute and a sinner the other? 

‭Luke 6:46 KJV‬

[46]  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 

You want God to do things for you; what are you doing for Him?

‭John 15:10 KJV‬

[10] If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

The only reason we are alive today is because of God's mercy. If you don't repent of your sins and get to live right you are doomed. 

Repent of all you ever done wrong and live right and God will have mercy on you but if not, you will reap what you sow.

‭Galatians 6:7 KJV‬

[7] Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 

Whatever goes around, comes around and nobody can pay back like God. 

God is watching you steal, lie, gossip, drink, smoke, curse, treat people badly, abuse others, act with pride, be arrogant and self righteous, commit adultery etc 

Your day is coming... Repent!!

God made us to serve Him.

You can't say you are serving God right the way you are doing right now. Let's tell the truth.

We all need to do good and do what the word of God says and the windows of heaven will open up and our requests shall be met. Don't be stubborn, don't be rebellious. Serve God in truth and in Spirit.
