He Lives!!
I wake up every morning looking and searching in my heart for a reason to live. A reason to soldier on...
Do You?
I wake up most times feeling like life is not worth the struggles that I'm going through. And the quarantine isn't making it any better.
Am I waking up to stare at my white painted walls again? What's their to look up to? Even a mighty stallion gets tired. I've even heard the children sing, "the mighty king of the Jungle also slumbers."
So whom am I not to get tired? Whom am I not to give up when life has given me a good beating and I'm torn and weary?
Does it get to the point where you ask where Christ is during such times?
Today I've been encouraged by a brother that, I am because HE LIVES!!
SDA HYMNAL NO.526 says...
1.God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal and forgive
He lived and died to buy my pardon
An empty grave is there to prove my savior lives
Refrain
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living, just because He lives
2. How sweet to hold a newborn baby
And feel the pride and joy He gives
But greater still the calm assurance
This child can face uncertain day, because He lives
3. And then one day, I'll cross the river
I'll fight life's final war with pain And then, as death gives way to victory
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He reigns
So brethren, keep on keeping on. Soldier on with the Hope that He lives. That the risen saviour is soon coming for His beloved and in the midst of storms and suffering God is working!!
1st Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Let this be the reason to wake up each and every day and living faithfully.
Amen!
