Too late
In a world intoxicated by money and fame, humanity has veered far from the divine path. They chase wealth and status with a reckless disregard for God's commandments, forsaking the divine way for temporal gains. This blind pursuit has led many to deny God's existence despite the ceaseless warnings and sermons delivered through the ages.
When destruction looms, a desperate shift occurs. The wild ones—those who live lawlessly, indulging in every vice—suddenly turn pious when faced with their mortality. They become new beings overnight, seeking redemption at the eleventh hour. Conversely, some stubbornly cling to their hedonistic ways, choosing to revel in their final days rather than heed divine warnings.
Psalm 14:1-3 exposes the futility of such defiance: "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God... They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one."
Just as the rains poured down and Noah's ark became the last refuge, so will it be when Christ returns. At that time, cries of repentance will fall on deaf ears. The door will be shut, and the opportunity for salvation will be lost. The realization of our plight will come too late.
We are warned repeatedly. We are urged to repent and abandon our evil ways, yet many remain indifferent. When Christ appears with a shout and the voice of an archangel, many will find themselves unprepared. Each new day draws us closer to judgment, and time is fleeting.
Revelation 20:12 depicts the ultimate reckoning: "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."
The call is urgent. Turn away from evil, seek God with sincerity, and renew your spirit. As Ephesians 4:22-24 commands, cast off your old self, embrace righteousness, and live in holiness.
Those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will face eternal separation, as Revelation 20:15 warns.
The conclusion of this urgent plea: Fear God, keep His commandments—this is the duty of man. Embrace the truth before it’s too late. 🙏
