“New Man”

We that are alive are here because of God’s mercy. The only things that should be coming out of us are Godly things. Our character and speech should reflect Christ.

Sometimes when children are brought up, they begin to rebel. They don’t want to go to church no more, they want to party and hang out with certain friends or do things their way. And the  moment you tell them about God, most of them fight back and become disrespectful.
This is the condition of the world.

If the church doesn’t resurrect the minds of the young people, then the streets will destroy them. Parents have a huge role to play… not teachers at school, not pastors in church not friends or counselors BUT parents!!

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

In order for the world to fall in place, the homes of the world must fall in place.
If the world will not bow to God, the homes will follow suit. The world is in the condition it is because of the defiance to God but love for money and fame.

Dear parents, your children should never look in the television to find role models.
Role models for young men and women today are football players, actors and actresses, musicians, the rich folk of the world… etc

That’s why you find young men wanting to dress in a certain fashion, walk in a certain way, talk in a certain manner…
Young women have forgotten that they were created beautiful by the Almighty God and want to put on makeup, fake everything, dress like Beyoncé and be famous like Oprah…

Question: Without these things, do you see yourself and our children as beautiful and wonderfully made? Who messed up their ego, pride or self esteem?

As the days go by, the youth are becoming untamed and unruly, more disrespectful, more haters of God and lovers of pleasure.

The word of God which is Holy, is meant to correct which has deviated. And correction starts from home; Correction starts from self.
So before you straighten out children, parents also need to be straightened out.

Proverbs 8:4-5
4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

How do we expect to produce decent, respectable children if what we produce is garbage?
The children look at us curse out and quarrel each other at home & they will go curse others in the streets.
They young men look at us beat up our wives and they become women beaters in future.
They look at us party, drink and smoke and end up drinking and smoking too.
They look at us having multiple partners and then they learn the art of fornication and adultery themselves.
They look at how irresponsible and dysfunctional the home is and pick up the same traits as they get older.

Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
Why does God call the man first?
Man was the first that God made.
Man is supposed to represent God.
Man is head and priest of the home.

Unfortunately, man fell when iniquity entered his heart and ate of the tree of good and evil.
And now God wants man to be, a new man.
A man with a new mind and new heart.
Not carrying the bible and cursing out people, not praying and yet drinking and smoking, not calling on God and yet indulging in worldly pleasures; a new creature.
How can you be the head at home and sit back when trivial matters arise?

The condition of man today is a sad condition. He comes to church but for what reason?
How can we as men digest truth and teach our children lies?
The life you live in front of them can show them the opposite of what you say or teach.
How can you teach your son how to treat his future wife respectfully and yet he sees you being verbally or physically abusive to your own wife?
How can you women teach your daughters how to dress or live with their husbands and yet you dress like Jezebel and are disrespectful to your own husbands?
How can men teach young boys how to be decent and respectful yet they dress and have haircuts like hip hop artists? Torn trousers, tight pants, dreadlocks and jewelry on them in the name of fashion. The scriptures say, “put difference between holy and unholy.”
How will we differentiate hip hop artists, the wicked and children of God?
How can you teach your child not to steal and yet he/she sees you steal every day?
Let’s not pretend that our homes are perfect.

Leviticus 10:10-11
10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
11 And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

Parents, we teach our children more quietly than verbally. Why? Children are observant. They are watching everything. What we do, how we do, where we go, what we eat, how often we pray…etc

If you reprove your Child, there is a way to do it and an ungodly way to do it.
For example, you cannot curse your child out however angry you may be then teach him/her not to curse. You cannot chastise your child for cursing or being unruly in school or wherever and yet you do the same.
You better chastise yourself first.

Ephesians 4:20-27
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.

Colossians 3:9-10
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

A wise person always is ready to be taught.
We are in a generation where babies are making babies and the adults and older generation seem not to care no more.

Proverbs 8:32-33
32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

A man who’s a father needs to master the craft. Likewise to a woman who wants to be a mother must sharpen her skills.
You can’t learn from a fool. For a fool might teach you that the solution for disagreeing with the spouse is physical violence or getting another.
Scripture teaches that, “Evil communication corrupts good manners.”

Men, parents, be the example you want your children to emulate. Take up your roles as it’s meant to be.
Seek wisdom from God’s word and place all your cares, wants and desires to the Almighty Father, praying fervently without ceasing because we are living in a weird, wild and dangerous world.

Let’s not forget the famous proverb that says, “the apple never falls far from the tree.”

“…hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” 🙏🏽
