1  John 3:4

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

James 4:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 kings 18:21

Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him." But the people said nothing.

John 8:44

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

The devil always presents sin as very enticing. Very harmless and sweet or beautiful at the same time.

A “small” sin like a “white” lie seems harmless at the beginning but the devil never shows you that.

You steal to get rich and enjoy. Very interesting at the beginning but the devil never shows you the final result.

Sins such as pride seem harmless too. You feel bigger or better or wiser than other people. You take on the character of the devil which was to uplift himself and see himself to be better or equal to God. You don’t see the end result at the beginning because it feels good to be proud. Forgetting, pride comes before a fall.

Sex at the wrong time with the wrong person seems to be enjoyable yet he doesn’t show you the end results. He doesn’t show you that you might get someone pregnant and yet you ain’t ready to be a parent/wife/husband. He doesn’t show you that you can get diseases and such. 

Alcohol and drugs tastes good at first. But the devil won’t show you that you can get addicted and cause ruin to your family or yourself. He doesn’t show you the side effects of whatever you are using.

Dressing to look sexy or please yourself may look harmless to you at the beginning but Gods people are warned to be modest. The devil doesn’t show you the end results. When you cause another brother or sister to fall, their sins are on you.

Whatever the sin, anything against God’s law; it’s always enjoyable at some point especially when you start. That’s how cunning the devil is. The master of deception! Entering the minds of men to cause confusion and rebellion. Confusion to the extent certain men want to be/act like women and women want to be men (LGBTQ)… confusion!!

If he was able to convince a third of the angels to side with him and actually believe that they could be like God, who are we to him?

Imagine angels who knew the Creator. Angels that had seen and felt the power of God were swayed, who are we; just mere mortals? 

That’s why we’ve been warned to resist him and flee from sin. Sin will harden your heart towards good, sin will cause you to be unreasonable, foolish, immature, irresponsible, proud, angry, selfish and toxic. You never see these at the beginning but such are the fruits or results of dining with the devil. 

God is asking and saying:

Can good and evil go together?

Can light and darkness mix?

Separate holy from unholy.

Do not be unequaly yoked.

Touch not, taste not; handle not…

What do the righteous have to do with the unrighteous?

Imagine if the devil was to come with horns and claws and red eyes eyes or as the dragon the way he is described, none would stand him. That is why he must present himself in a way that will be acceptable and not scary to man. 

If you entertain him, the end result is DEATH. If not here on earth, then when Christ returns. For there will be no sinner in heaven.

Always remember John 10:10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Do you want to die? I guess not.

Here is what God will do to sinners & this is how the experience will be:

Psalms 37:38

But all sinners will be destroyed;
    there will be no future for the wicked.

Colossians 3:6
Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience

2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. 

Isaiah 13:11
I will punish the world for its evil, 
And the wicked for their iniquity; 
I will halt the arrogance of the proud, 
And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Luke 13:28

There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.

Nahum 1:2-3

God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Zephaniah 1:15
That day is a day of wrath, 
A day of trouble and distress, 
A day of devastation and desolation, 
A day of darkness and gloominess, 
A day of clouds and thick darkness, 

Revelation 6:17

For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?

Ezekiel 22:20-22

As men gather silver, copper, iron, lead and tin into a furnace to melt it with a fiery blast, so will I gather you in my anger and my wrath and put you inside the city and melt you.

I will gather you and I will blow on you with my fiery wrath, and you will be melted inside her.

As silver is melted in a furnace, so you will be melted inside her, and you will know that I the LORD have poured out my wrath upon you.

Revelation 21:8

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.

We have NO CHOICE but to obey God.
