The Lord’s Servant

Many are the ways of a man but all lead to misery, destruction and the actions are considered foolishness.

The way of the Lord is Truth. When you walk in truth, you attain knowledge and wisdom.

The evil ways will cause you to err but the straight and narrow gives eternal life.

Having not known the truth, the young man full of youthfulness thought the riches of world could give happiness. Lo and behold, he chased the riches of the world without sight. He could pray once in a while and when good things happened he gave credit to God but still refused to be His servant. When tough times knocked, he’d pretend and beg the Lord for help, giving promises about changing his lifestyle. Our Gracious Father never failed him but still he forgot about Him…

On his way to places he shouldn’t be, the Lord found him wanting. The Lord had fought tirelessly to get his attention but the young man felt smarter than God.

If thou feet lead you to sin, cut them off. Like a fiction movie, the Lord allowed that the young man severe his spine and render him disabled.

Once again, the smooth talker begun speaking to the Lord about his injury. Day and night he cried to the Lord but he recieved no answer. His prayers were selfish and all the times he imagined stepping back and out from where he left. Meaningless prayers with selfish, wicked motives. Thus the Lord ignored him and left him to learn a few lessons.

Jonah thought he was smart and could hide from God. Shock on him as the Lord could see everything and be everywhere. By the Lord’s hand events unfolded and he had to fulfill the purpose of the God who sent him.

Days went by, weeks went by and the young man was still hopeful that the Lord would perform a miracle. He offered his prayers with false lips trying to convince the Lord that he had changed. Nothing happened. For the Lord sees the heart.

Psalms 51:17

My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.

The man wasn’t humble enough to recognize God.

After several attempts to reach God. After many years of pain and anguish and disappointments from man and himself, the young man’s pride and ego started fading. His eyes started to open and then he realized that the only Saviour is Jesus Christ.

He begun to release the yoke that was drawing him down and slowing him.

Then he remembered that the Bible states that those who come to Him with humility and a contrite spirit, He shall hear them and heal them. This was a light bulb moment… he prayed with a sincere heart after realizing that there is no other way but only God’s.

During a visit to the village on a day before Sabbath, the man was troubled with the word of God. He constantly asked himself why God didn’t want to talk to him. This question ate his soul and he sort to find answers.

He talked to friends and inquired on the issue but… nothing. You can’t find answers from the world, only God gives answers and they are written in the Bible for those who believe.

On the Sabbath day, the question was posed in church. A lady, a relative answered him and said, God had been speaking to him but he just couldn’t hear the voice.

Something as clear as night and day, he couldn’t notice.

The Bible in John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

God was speaking to him through the Bible. He just couldn’t hear Him speak but from then on he believed and sort to indulge in the book of tongues (Bible).

When you have the Will to do good, God offers Grace to support you.

2 Cor 12: 9-10

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

God can use his creation to fulfill his purpose on anyone. One day while surfing the net, came across a documentary that shed negative light on Hollywood stars and how they blaspheme against the Lord and how many, if not all are in cults and secret associations controlling Hollywood and the entire entertainment industry.

His favorite actors like Will Smith, Jada, Denzel, musicians like Kirk Franklin, Usher, ministers like bishops  TD Jakes, Benny Hinn, entertainers like Madea, Oprah, Steve Harvey etc who claim to be God sent were put in bad light and their evils exposed.

His heart was pained.

He was confused and remorseful.

These people that men look up to are very evil.

His appetite for Netflix and movies died that day. Secular music wasn’t as sweet as it used to be. Something started to change…

Now, with humility he begun to offer prayers that seemed genuine asking for forgiveness of sin and the will of God to lead.

Because nothing on the Internet was interesting he begun to search for Gods true word. While surfing through YouTube, he met Apostle Gino Jennings.

The preacher was loud and sounded arrogant. The preacher spoke with authority, cursing out plainly and boldly almost all the preachers he knew. The message was true, the message was painful and the message was the Bible. The preacher pointed out where the churches of today have gone wrong and he understood and saw it as clear.

Coming from the seventh day Adventist church, he felt comfortable knowing his church was perfect and was the said remnant church.

Until one day apostle Gino called out the church for false doctrines. He got afraid and even more confused…. Is it really true? Can this be possible? He had to find out…

Sat he down with a Bible, notebook and pen, he indulged in study. The preacher then started dismantling, dismembering, breaking down the Bible, verse after verse using the same Bible. Line upon line, precept upon precept, he said.

In total disbelief he was overjoyed to have read and understood the Bible. His eyes were opened.

We do not keep the Sabbath. We are a bunch of hypocrites pretending to be holy yet we are full of all sorts of filth including in church.

Immediately, he fell into prayer. He prayed and worshipped God. He read the Bible  again and again…

All over sudden, he thirsted for the word. He couldn’t get enough of it and days and nights went by as he continually kept reading.

The more he read, the more the Grace and understanding.

One afternoon as he was in scripture, tears fell from his eyes and he wept bitterly. He finally had an answered prayer. God talked to him and was talking to him through the Bible. He was happy for that very reason.

With thoughts fixed upon Heaven, the mood changed and he felt pain. He looked at his family, friends and relatives and imagined just how his loved ones were lost… lost in that, they never knew the Lord.

Matthew 7:21-23

21 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’

23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

We must live under the law. Gods law!!

He imagined his pastors, elders, deacons and deaconesses, choir members all going into damnation for following false doctrines and not knowing Christ as they claim.

As I speak of these things, I speak them unto myself also because I need to remind myself that The way of the Lord is holiness.

Isaiah 35:8

A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.

Leviticus 20:7

Be holy; for I, the Lord your God, am holy.

1 Peter 1: 15-16

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

With the word that opened his eyes, he has continuously searched the scriptures and more revelation keep coming. His understanding has been opened and the interpretations there of.

This is the beginning of a new chapter.

This is why God made me His prisoner.

This is why God crippled me…

That my feet not lead me to evil, that I may suffer and revere the one who takes away all the sufferings, pain and strife.

Jeremiah 33:3

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Matthew 19:26

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Ephesians 4:1-5

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

No religion will take anybody to Heaven.

No apostle, pastor, elder or bishop will take you to heaven. The Bible has no religion.

If you want eternal life; live according to the word. Talk God, see God, walk Godly always!

The apostle that once sounded rude and arrogant, the one man that I thought was biased and lost, the one man that I felt was just shouting at people through the help of God, reached out to me and spoke truth.

At the moment, his teachings are music to my ears and food for my soul.

The truth is painful because our canal minds are always ready to fight any good.

The truth is painful because it goes against our nature which is to oppose good.

Recieve Christ brethren, repent and live holy for God demands that from Us, that in finality we inherit eternal life. Surrender everything and serve The Lord.

James 1:12

12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Examine yourself!!

  1. Amen. I'm reminded and encouraged of the centrality of God in our lives. How I pray that God may dwell with us, relieve our pains and use us for His Glory. Thank you for this.
