Consider

Do you know that the Word of God can actually cause people to hate you?

Even within families, Scripture has the power to divide, with some embracing it and others rejecting it. Jesus Himself warned that a man’s enemies could be those of his own household (Matthew 10:36).

Do you also realize that you should never dismiss what others say too quickly? Even a person considered unwise—or even mad—can sometimes speak the truth. If your father, who has never prayed or entered a church, tells you to stop drinking or to leave bad company, would you reject his advice simply because of who he is? Wisdom can come from unexpected places.

Whenever you hear something—whether or not you agree with it—always take time to consider it. To consider does not mean to accept blindly; it means to weigh what you have heard against the Word of God. Scripture itself instructs us:

2 Timothy 2:7 “Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.”

Too often, when we encounter words or teachings that clash with our traditions, ways of life, or personal opinions, we immediately grow defensive. But who told us that our way is always right? Upon honest reflection, we may be surprised to discover that we were in error.

God, in His mercy, ensures that before anyone dies, they will have an opportunity to hear or encounter the true gospel of Christ. None will be able to stand before Him and say, “I never knew” or “I wasn’t told.”

The devil, however, is the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). He works to harden hearts, push people into defensiveness, and keep them from listening to truth. At the same time, he deceives many into a dangerous comfort—believing they are already in the truth and needing nothing more.

This has always been the case with God’s messengers. The prophets of old brought messages that people did not want to hear and, as a result, they faced persecution. Noah preached for 120 years, warning people of the coming flood and calling them into the ark, yet his message was ignored. The apostles went into the world with the gospel, but most people rejected their words, and they suffered greatly for Christ’s sake. Even Jesus Himself—God in the flesh—was hated, rejected, and ultimately crucified because His message opposed the teachings of the Pharisees.

In these last days, Apostle Pastor Gino Jennings has been called by God to preach repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the necessity of receiving the Holy Ghost. He boldly condemns man-made religions and traditions that misrepresent the truth of Christ. For this reason, many who call themselves Christians despise him. He has been threatened, attacked, and continually rejected because his preaching exposes falsehood.

The tragedy is that most people refuse to even consider his message. As Scripture says:

2 Corinthians 4:3–4 “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

The devil works tirelessly to give people excuses to hate Apostle Jennings, distracting them from the Word he preaches.

2 Thessalonians 2:10–12 reminds us: “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Never forget that it is written that, "just as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be when Christ returns." They rejected Noah, Pr. Gino is also being rejected.

Nevertheless, as much as the majority are rejecting the Word of God because of Apostle Gino, several men and women have heard and continue to hear God's word through him, and many continue to accept the message of holiness. Pray that you don’t fall among those that rejected.

Humble yourself. Pray sincerely. Turn away from sin. Consider carefully the teachings you hear through Pastor Gino Jennings. If you approach with humility, God Himself will open your understanding and lead you into the truth.

Consider! Weigh the spirits!!

  1. Wonderful brother.

This is a good piece and I can relate with it.

    Like the part where one is supposed to consider first what anyone tells him/her;
See, my momma keeps telling me never to leave God who delivered me and to always remember praying; she tells me and my wife that.Man, this is good advise and I can't afford to ignore it even when it comes from a mother who is not already in the truth of God.

How did she know that its God who delivered me from whatever I was into? Am telling you,she had and has been there in the journey of my life. She saw how the devil had lied to me so I had indulged myself into the things of this world and had given myself to them and my situation got worse. From this she could see that it wasn't right with the things I did and maybe she had tried her own means to get me out of it,who knows!! to no success.

Now,how I came out of it with no efforts from anyone, just prayers and began to put away the things of the world (by God's help).Even I, can't explain how it happened. She knows no matter how many ways we tried or she tried to get me out of the devil, our ways didn't work.God's way worked and has been working even now.
She knows its God who done it even when she ain't in the truth of God.

Now,today if she tells one to rely on God,pray God and read the scriptures, would one be dump enough to ignore such an advice.ITS A GOOD ONE.She recognizes a higher power,God.And oh yes its true.

Now,it's upon the one given the advise by such a person to go on and find out (by God's help) the one true God,Jesus Christ and serve Him by obeying His commandments.

JUST DONT BE A FOOL AND SERVE ANY GOD.

Keep the good work brother.God be your helper.Keep writing.
