Forgive yourself

Forgive yourself for the pains you felt you couldn't express, the feelings you didn't share, and the misconceptions and mishandlings that stemmed from you not speaking at times. 

Forgive yourself for the times you didn't say:

I'm struggling.

That's not true.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.

Please help me.

I need you.

You hurt me.

I don't know what's wrong with me.

I'm scared.

I appreciate you.

No.


Whether you look back and wish you had said something or reflect on situations when you realize it would have been in your best interest to not say so much the lesson reigns true for both experiences. 


Our words hold the power to build our dreams,

relationships, and confidence as well as the power to tear them all down.


Instead of focusing on the words that left your mouth and the silences that spoke volumes

-realize that the person behind them

is a human. Forgive yourself.
