Real Friends

Even when we do not see eye to eye

I will still be by your side

to provide light when life gets dark

Even when your feet burn

as you tread through hell

I will put you on my back

to give you a rest

no pressure, I know

you would save my life

without blinking twice.

I may not text back fast

Or answer every call

I may seem distant for the most part

But as a friend you will always

be in my heart
