Waiting

They say, “Sometimes God’s blessings are not in what he gives but in what He takes away.” 

Sad but painful truth…

Whether bedridden, in pain and agony, sitted or standing weary, God’s not done with you. 

Yesterday is not today and today is not tomorrow.  

No time to give up; we keep fighting. 

All I ask is the strength to continue waiting.

Can I be honest? I am tired of waiting. Been in and out of hospital in the past few weeks and it sucks. Waiting is hard, painful, and exhausting. But I know that learning to wait well is a beautiful, sanctifying hope-giving thing. 

So help me wait well my Dear Lord. 

Help me cling to you as I wait. 🙏🏽 

This is my prayer every day!

Good things come to those who wait they say.

Better things come to those who don't give up and the best things come to those who believe.

One musician once sang:

May your struggles keep you near the cross,

May your troubles show that you need God,

May your battles end the way they should,

And May your bad days prove that God is good…

And May your whole life prove that God is good…

Please Lord, let your peace rule in my heart. Help me live by your grace' each day of this waiting. And help me

bring you glory as I wait expectantly.
