The Dreamer
I’m a dreamer. I’ve always been one. A friend of mine once told me that I talk too much of things I haven’t achieved or gotten but I told him that I always fight for my dreams. And when I’m powerless and cannot fight, then My God steps in. He knows my desires and understands my taste… fine things, soft life!!😆
Over the past many months I’ve had this special dream and it’s clear as day.
I dream of a day when I’ll share a testimony. A day like no other for me. When fiction shall be reality. When promises will be fulfilled. When a different chapter shall begin. When God shall have proven Himself one more time.
I dream standing in the midst of congregants sharing my journey through illness.
The picture is so vivid in my mind like it’s already happened. I can see the face of a brother and sister whom had lost hope lighten up. I can see a smile, tears of joy and the spirit of fighting on rekindled.
My dreams keep me going. They give me hope, instill courage and confidence. That’s the reason I smile despite the pain and hardships. Because I strongly believe that my present times don’t necessarily determine my future. This is just but a season. A chapter that is soon ending. A phase that was purposed to make me better.
Im waiting patiently. My dreams, my testimony shall come to pass. If not today, then tomorrow and if not tomorrow, then the next day or the next… I’ll keep waiting. I’ll keep on dreaming.
And why am I so sure of this? Because it’s for His Glory!!
Never loose hope!!
Philippians 1:6
I’m convinced that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it through to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
John9:3
Neither this man nor his parents sinned,”said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

There is no fault in dreaming. I believe the moment, one stops dreaming, they lose focus of life. Martin Luther had a dream, Barrack Obama had a dream and Nelson Mandela had a dream. Their dreams and pushing for the attainment of the dreams have revolutionized the world as we know it. You and I have dreams... Do not stop dreaming.
ReplyDeletePhilippians 1:6 cups it all.
Amen bro!! Dream until your dreams come true 🦾
