Imperfect

I’m Work in progress.

I’m not a good friend.

I don’t make the best husband.

I’m not the best father.

I have never been the best child.

Nor have I been a good Christian.

My life is full of shortcuts, deceit and hypocrisy.

I have way too many faults and can’t be put anywhere close to the standards of perfection.

I try all the time but fail lots of times.

So please forgive me when I whine and complain. 

Forgive me when I get angry and petty. 

Forgive me when I throw insults or get rude. Forgive me when I seem ungrateful. 

Forgive me for always wanting more. 

Forgive me for my selfishness, pride and huge ego. 

Forgive me when I lie and let you down.

Forgive me!!

For I’m an imperfect person who’s lost in sin and seeks for direction, mercy and understanding. 

I acknowledge my weaknesses, boldly own them and pray that The Lord forgives me too.
