Get Up

Get up!!

Yes it hurts but Jesus is the mender of Broken hearts. It’s confusing but Jesus makes the crooked places straight. A lot of time has gone by but Jesus is always on time. Stop your weeping, stop your mourning, get out of your feelings because The Creator says, “GET UP!!”

Get out of that situation, get out of that moment, get out of that season because you are not yet done.

Though it has delayed for a season, He is now calling your name to get up and get out because your time has come.

That last blow left you weak and helpless, that last failure, that last disease, that last heartbreak, that last NO, that last mistake, that last rejection left you for dead. I’m here to remind you that it’s not yet over until He says it’s over. Get up and get out!!

The greater the problem, the greater the miracle!!

Gods delay can be His Devine setup for Him to do something through you that the world has never seen. Pray for patience, pray for strength that He gives you the ability to wait.

In order to get the miracle there are certain things that you must do or go through.

Think positive, look for positive influence if possible. Take a bold step and remove that hate, that fear. 

Get up and get out of that bad situation. Your mission is not complete. Your story is not over!!

In our culture, we can always tell whom you are by what you wear. A direct correlation between whom you are and what you put on.

You will identify a nurse by the scrubs they put on. A police officer through his uniform. A matatu/taxi/bus driver through the uniforms. A pilot, a chef, a firefighter, a house help and even a prostitute.

What are your clothes telling people about what you do?

Lazarus had just been raised from the dead and as he got out of the grave he had clothes that symbolized where he had been. Get up and get out of those grave clothes that people may see that you are alive. 

John 11:44

“And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!”

You are no longer being held hostage. Those fears, those failures that held you hostage: it’s time to let them go! Don’t wear them no more!

You want to lift your hands but you feel like some weights are pulling you down. You want to leap and dance but your feet feel to heavy. You want to shout but it feels like there is some mute on your praise.

One word from Jesus will set you free forever. 

Get up and get out of that situation that the devil may know that you are still alive. 

I pray that every relationship that might have been dead finds life. Every marriage that’s on the rocks gets up and live. Every hopeless situation finds life. 

It’s about time to get up and live!!
