It’s Home
When everything seems to be going well; nobody in your family is sick, all needs are met and you are happy, we tend to forget that problems can befall us.
When it’s all glamorous, no deaths or pains, we tend to think that it can never get home.
We pray for the sick at home or in hospitals, we counsel the broken families, we encourage the bereaved families, we feed the poor or needy assuming that its far from home.
For the past three weeks I’ve heard the deaths of many relatives and friends and I’ve also heard of many sick with Covid amongst other diseases.
Remember a while back Covid was a story we watched on Tv but now it’s home. Killing not only strangers but people we know.
Please pray for me as I pray for you. We need each other for strength. So that when my problems come, I have many to help me bear the weight.
Keep in mind, today I might be having this problem, tomorrow it might be yours.

#Pray for one another
It's so easy to ignore or overlook problems when they are not affecting us. Furthermore, it is easier to say you will pray for someone and not do so. In the spirit of your post, let us genuinely care and pray for each other...
ReplyDeleteI love your posts, they remind me of the simple things that tend to be overlooked as people play life.
Considering, that people have embraced visual audio more in the last 10 years, you can even consider a podcast. Many more will be blessed, and enlightened.
Last time I checked, God would knock at one's door with a bang. From His book I witnessed it in Job, Peter, Moses, David........
ReplyDeleteWe must be ready for God's knock at our doors. It shall be a big bang.
What is needed of us is prayers, keeping in faith and spiritual strength.
