You Will Overcome
1st Corinthians 10:13
There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.
God will always give you a way of escape. He will not test you beyond your capability. God has already measured our strength and capabilities.
And so, every problem has a Devine measurement. You and I have been prequalified for adversity.
I would liken this to a bank loan:
The bank will check your credit rating. The bank will check your income, The bank will look at your past loans if any.
They can't give you more than what you can't handle. And so, if we can trust the bank to tell us what man can handle, what of God? Why can't we trust that God has already given us problems we can handle??
Job was prequalified by God for the adversity he went through. Mary and Joseph the parents of Jesus were prequalified for what they went through. Daniel was measured and God knew he was ready for the tests to come. God knew that Moses was fit to lead the Israelites even when he doubted himself. Meshack, Shadrack and Abednego were fit for the trials they went through. Even Jesus the Son of God was the best "Person" to die for the salvation of mankind.
You might ask yourself, how do you cling to God when you are constantly on your knees but your prayers ain't being answered?
How do you cling to God when the body is constantly aching?
How do you cling to to God when your loved one just died?
How do you cling to God when creditors are constantly on your phone and you can't make ends Meet?
How do you cling to God when your husband or wife has decided to leave you?
My encouragement today is that even when it feels like you can't go on, remind yourself constantly that you were created by God to handle such problems.
If God permitted IT, then it means that God already predetermined it's already your size and YOU WILL OVERCOME.
Amen and thank you for the encouragement.
