For Better or For worse

I wake up and it's right next to me,
Waiting for me to board...
Waiting for another day's toil
Waiting for long hours on end At the same spot.

My faithful servant, My ride or die,
Ever bearing my heavy weight.
Though the squeaks and twiches are getting louder, You still haven't given up...

How I wish I could give you a break
How I wish you had a day off...
I can see you are tired, old and getting weary...
Someday, you will have your rest.

Even as I get to bed, I'm sure my Faithful ride
will be waiting when morning comes.
It's almost one year and our relationship has grown solid.
